Governance

ITC’s approach to corporate governance is based on our core values and behaviors that are used throughout our company by associates on a daily basis. Our core values are designed to promote transparency, fair dealing and stakeholder interests; this includes our customers, associates, and our community. This approach involves maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance, which ITC considers undamental to the sustainability of our business and our performance.

See below for our programs and policies implemented to meet our Governance commitment as a part of our ESG Policy:

  • Risk Management

ITC has risk management systems in place to identify and evaluate safety, health, environmental, and security hazards and risks associated with the products we store and handle as well as associated activities. The process includes a review of the Safety Data Sheets, identification of potential health and safety concerns, possible environmental effects, security related issues and compliance to applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Our risk management system makes safety, health, environmental protection, and security an integral part of our product storage and handling management system.

  • Security

ITC is a Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) regulated facility under 33 CFR Part 105. All persons requiring unescorted access to the secured areas of the facility must possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
